About Etakel
An advisory practice built around the client's interests, not the program's.
Independent licensing. No operator commissions. One advisor per file.
Who We Are
Etakel was founded to address a structural problem in the CBI industry: most advisors are compensated by program operators, which means their advice is shaped by which program pays the highest referral fee, not which program suits the client.
We operate on a client-fee model. Our revenue comes exclusively from the individuals and families we advise. This means our program recommendations are made purely on fit — jurisdiction stability, due-diligence stringency, processing timelines, and long-term value of the document obtained.
The firm holds an independent advisory license and maintains a dedicated AML compliance function. Our practice covers citizenship-by-investment and residency-by-investment programs across the Caribbean, Europe, and select jurisdictions in the Middle East, Pacific, and Asia.

Our Approach
Deliberate advice over fast answers.
We do not begin by presenting programs. We begin by understanding the client's current situation: existing passports and travel document strength, tax residency and any planned changes, source-of-funds profile, family members who would be included in an application, and the actual use case for a second citizenship or residence permit.
Only after that review do we identify programs that are realistically available — and worth considering. Some clients discover that a program they had in mind is not a good fit, or that a lesser-known option better addresses their actual needs. That conversation is part of the value of engaging an independent advisor, rather than going directly to a program's authorized agent.
Through application, our role is to keep the file organized, government timelines tracked, and the client informed at each stage — not to disappear after the initial paperwork is submitted.
What we do not do
We do not accept referral fees from program operators, governments, or developers. We do not recommend a program because it closes quickly or pays well. We do not handle investment execution, legal structuring, or tax advice — we will refer you to specialists for those components.
What to expect from us
A written scope of work before engagement begins. Clear fee disclosure. Honest assessment of whether a program fits your background and risk profile. Regular status updates. And direct access to the advisor handling your file — not a junior coordinator.
