Services

The engagements we take on, and how they work.

Three named service areas. Each scoped to the client's actual situation — not a package with a price list.

Etakel advises on program selection, application strategy, and documentation — the advisory and coordination work, not the legal or financial execution.

We do not act as lawyers, licensed tax advisors, or investment managers. Where a client's situation requires legal structuring, estate planning, or tax opinion, we work alongside — and can refer to — specialists in those disciplines. What we provide is the program expertise, the process management, and the independence that most clients cannot get from a program's own authorized agents.

Engagements are scoped before any fee is agreed. If after the initial consultation we do not think a program path makes sense for your situation, we will say so directly.

Three areas of practice.

Citizenship by Investment Advisory

Full-cycle advisory covering the complete lifecycle of a CBI application. We begin with an eligibility and suitability review — assessing your existing travel document strength, tax profile, family composition, and source-of-funds documentation before a program is shortlisted. This prevents late-stage surprises and keeps expectations calibrated from the outset.

Program coverage includes Caribbean jurisdictions (Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia), European programs, and select others.

Fee structure is disclosed in writing before engagement. We do not earn commissions from program operators or government-approved agents.

Residency Planning

Advisory on investment-based residency programs — commonly called Golden Visa pathways — as well as retirement and financially independent residency categories. This service is particularly relevant for clients seeking EU long-term residency, travel-document strengthening, or tax-residency repositioning, without the commitment or cost of a full citizenship program.

We cover programs in Portugal, Greece, Spain, Malta, UAE, and other jurisdictions. Advisory includes program comparison, residency maintenance requirement planning, and pathway-to-citizenship timeline mapping where applicable.

We do not provide tax or legal advice on residency implications — this requires qualified specialists in your current and target jurisdictions, whom we can refer you to.

Due Diligence & Application Support

For clients who have already identified a program and need execution support: document assembly and certification coordination, source-of-funds documentation structuring, government-filing preparation, and liaison with program administrators and authorized agents throughout the application cycle.

This service is also available to clients who began an application through another channel and encountered difficulties — stalled files, missing documentation requests, or unclear government correspondence. We review the file, identify the gap, and coordinate resolution.

Status updates are provided at defined intervals. The lead advisor on your file is reachable directly — not through a general support inbox.

What happens after you reach out.

The same five-stage sequence applies to every client, adapted to the scope of the engagement.

01

Initial Consultation

A structured 60-minute conversation — by video or phone — covering your current situation, what you are trying to achieve, and whether a CBI or RBI program is a realistic and appropriate path. There is no obligation or fee for this call.

02

Eligibility Review & Program Shortlist

If we proceed, we conduct a detailed review of your eligibility across relevant programs: passport and travel history, source-of-funds documentation, family members to be included, and any factors that require careful handling in due diligence. From this we produce a written shortlist — typically two to three programs — with a clear rationale for each.

03

Program Selection & Scope Agreement

The client selects a program. We issue a written engagement letter covering: the selected program, the scope of our advisory role, the fee, and the timeline. Nothing proceeds without a signed scope agreement.

04

Documentation & Application

We compile the document checklist specific to the program and the client's profile, coordinate notarisation and apostille requirements, review source-of-funds documentation, and prepare the application file. Where an authorised agent or legal representative is required, we manage that relationship on the client's behalf.

05

Follow-Through & Completion

From submission to approval, we track government correspondence, respond to any information requests, and keep the client informed at each stage. We remain on file until the passport or residence document is in hand.

The first consultation is at no cost. We ask for a brief intake form so the conversation is useful from the first minute.
